Bring snacks and help her tidy around the house if possible. Let her nap while you keep an ear out for the baby. And also snacks. Lol
hey how about this!.. per made meals breakfast, lunch, and dinner that would take a load off your mind
Great suggestions! I did those things for her with her first two babies, but she lives about 7 hours away from me this time. That’s why I’m not sure what to send her, because I’ve always done meals and helping.
Maybe coupons for Uber drive or other food delivery services? Plus sth that is only for her as a woman and not just as a mom
Food! Bring her food, or better yet, set up a food train. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me the first week after coming home
Baby photo shoot these days it's easy for you to do it yourself
A cleaner or meals on wheels/meals you make
Vouchers for Cook - the food is amazing and all frozen so she can stock up her freezer if she hadn’t chance to batch cook and have food ready to go without having to think about it
Comfy matching set, yummy snacks, her fav coffee
oh watch the baby for her while she showers that would be a great gift!
Good ideas, thank you all. I think I’ll just have some frozen meals delivered from her local store, and get her a new water cup and pajamas!
@Delapena I wish I could! 😩 I won’t be able to visit and meet the baby for a while, maybe not until this summer.
most towns these days, have a music thing in the park like River rhythms in Albany that would be something nice to do in the summertime with her
10 crockpot meals in freezer bags( or however many, I just found a recipe for 10). That way, when hubby goes to work, he drops it in in the morning and she has something to eat. I did this for my best friend but our husband were on deployment so, it was just her with a 2 year old and twins. If cooking isn't your thing you could order delivery food. I also came over and held all the babies so she could rest, did dishes, laundry and let her shower.
Time I would say, give her the gift of time your time if possible help her when she gets home
