MIL opinions on Christmas gifts😭😭

It’s Christmas shopping time and my MIL is so exhausting. My husband and I are spending our money to buy Christmas gifts for everyone in the family. She keeps dictating what we give each person. My husband bought his uncle a fifty dollar bottle of his favorite whisky and my MIL reallocated it to her man, because that was “too much to give to his uncle”😭😭 Told us to return two gifts and get something else because she doesn’t like it.😫😫 I’m ready for the holidays to be over.

If MIL tried to reallocate it to her man because it was too nice for someone else I would either tell her to fly a kite or say oh I’ll just meep the whisky for myself

@Christina I wasn’t telling her anything. Christmas is at her place and she was watching the baby while I wrapped gifts to put under the tree and she walked in and started going through the bags.

I would ignore her and give the gifts to the people I planned on giving them to. Who is she to decide what you give to anyone she didn’t even pay for anything.

I would just stop sharing her details about what you ve bought for other people. People can't comment over something they don't know about
