If your breastfeeding I would use 5 oz mixed with his bath water to sooth his skin . I would check the amount of breast milk first but start there
@Gina I’ve done coconut and do oat baths CONSTANTLY. As well as breast milk…. It works wonders at first and then just gets use to everything that works. I asked for an allergin test and my doctor tried to refuse
The one thing that didn’t work tho was the cream the doctor gave 🙄 tricotomine something
Change his primary doctor and go get a second opinion. That’s crazy they refused the allergy test
Hi Dejah speak to your health visitor and ask them to write to your GP asking for a referral. I would also recommend speaking to allergy UK. They have access to specialists like eczema nurses and can give you phone call appointment.
@Katie I’m in the US
@Gina wait really??
Get an allergy test done! Cut his nails / sleep next to him at night so if you hear or notice trying to scratch just put his arm back down. Get original quakers oatmeal. Not instant and put it In a clean long sock. Tie it up and use that to clean his body / eczema. Let it soak in bath. If you have all natural / unrefined organic coconut oil try that as a topical for now. I use that / cow balm for my youngest. Her eczema has caused her melanin to be spotty because of the scratching but it’s getting better. I would try to get more than one opinion / try to rule out other allergies too. Mine has eczema and allergic to PB
