I don't qualify for foodstamps, and I don't understand why. Some months I either have to pay rent mid month or my car payment late. And I go to two food pantries a week I need to learn to budget or something.
Are you married? Are you able to apply with just you and the kids? Sorry you’re dealing with that, I made too much just by myself alone this year and I’m so scared because my renewal is next month and I know for sure I’ll lose my benefits.
If you use Similac formula you can go on their website and put your information in and they’ll send you pretty good coupons in the mail also Enfamil sends you a whole “care package” thing it’s got a decent amount of either gift cards or coupons and a few small packets of formula to try it’s not much but it does help
@Susie do you have "qualify" for food pantries? Is there paperwork?
I mean one I go to you sign a paper saying your income is less than this amount of money but they never ask for proof and I've been going for years. Another one is a pop-up pantry that you just go pick up food from or drop food there, you never see a person. I would hope in these times they would never turn anyone away from a food pantry.
Omg I feel for you so bad!! I lost all my benefits because my partner makes too much money for a family of 3. Although he makes enough we never have much left over for anything else! All his money basically goes to rent and big bills. I don’t qualify for wic either. Fortunately family has been buying my son’s formula because we just cannot afford it. They finally gave me my food stamps back because his recent checks have been a bit lower but I get 48 dollars once a month. 😔 the system is so messed up. Im sorry you’re dealing with all of this mama
