You know I think I would go ahead and take him to urgent care. I wouldn’t be able to rest at night.
Ouch, I don’t know 🤷🏻♀️ but could it be the laundry detergent?
@Bryona, it's unlikely.
4hrs is quite long for hives although the way they're raised does look like it. Could it be chicken pox??
@Sophie, that's what I thought. It's now been almost 10 hours. We are at the hospital. 2 lots of antihistamines haven't touched it.
I'd take to doctors looks like an allergic reaction to something. You could try piriton too
Omgosh bless him poor baby, seems to have spread! I’m so glad you took him in. Hope he is feeling a little better or at least has a bit of relief from meds 🤎
@Samina, we are at the hospital.
Have they given you any feedback as to what’s going on? And how’s he doing now? And hope you’re doing okay too mama x
That looks so bad! Definitely doesn’t look like chicken pox now. This looks like an immune response to an allergen. I hope little man is doing better!
@Lyfe, they believe it's caused by a recent ear infection and the antibiotics he was on. He's resting now. I'm doing OK, thank you for asking 😊
Oh bless him, glad he's resting okay. Fingers crossed it starts to go down soon!
I’m glad to hear your ok and they’ve got a diagnosis at least. Stay well mama.. my love to you and lil man 🤎
Hey! Yes looks like hives to me. I would do a topical steroid with the nurofen for inflammation. You could also do Benadryl it he’s itching. Think about any new foods or allergens he’s been in contact with. If it spreads to his face or you notice swelling I would go to the er. The urgent care may give him a steroid injection or oral to help it go way faster.
