WE are having a baby but WE are not both pregnant. We are expecting, we are having a baby… sure. We are pregnant… full body shudder.
I even heard someone say ‘we gave birth.’ My female colleague sent an email around after her baby was born, saying, ‘My partner and I gave birth to our daughter.’ I get that they were trying to be inclusive of their partner, but personally, I think there’s a line between being inclusive and being unrealistic.
Yep! I hate it!
Honestly couldn’t give a fuck either way 🤷🏻♀️😂
I guess some men are so involved in the pregnancy and child birth process that they want to be included in the announcements.
I couldn't understand if I'm voting yes that you're the only one but that's what I meant 😅 Two people are expecting and experiencing a pregnancy so I don't understand the issue with acknowledging that men who are involved partners are actually sharing the experience 🤷🏾♀️
What are they meant to say 😂
I’ve always said ‘we’re expecting’ but to be honest I don’t bat an eye lid and couldn’t care less 😂
I definitely said we’re pregnant. For me it very much felt like he was part of it. Feel free to cringe away though 😂
I think it’s silly when they say “we’re pregnant” because u don’t have to include ur partner like how else would u have gotten pregnant lol
The cringeeee
Honestly, I feel the same way when moms says “we pooped” when their kid went on the potty (or in a pull-up) 😄 it’s not cringy to me, it’s just meh. Lol.
I hate that too! If anything, say we're expecting not we're pregnant. The guy doesn't do anything
