That’s exactly why I’m going to wait 😭😭 my wisdom was bothering me about two months ago and it was terrible pain only Tylenol we can use . What exactly did they do during the procedure? They pretty much say we can only take Tylenol and a cold compress to the cheek should help . Maybe ask and see if Oragel to the gum can be used since you just got it done ?

How long ago was it? If you just got it extracted you shouldn’t be rinsing with anything. Saltwater rinses after 24, anything that creates suction (smoking drinking through a straw) should all be avoid for 24 hrs. If longer, like a day or two could possibly be dry socket which in that case go back to the office so they can packet it!

I’m a dental hygienist. Try anything with Eugenol in it. It is cloves and call your dentist Monday morning. They will most likely have someone on call.

Agreed with the comment above. I also used to make a tea with cloves in it for other purposes but it helped my tooth pain a whole lot.
