Waking newborn at night

My little girl is currently 18 days old and normally wakes every 2/3 hours for feeding, but I’ve noticed the last few nights she’s refusing to wake up for a feed in the night and spits the milk out.. we was recommended not to let her go 4 hours without feeding, but it’s now 5 and a half hours and she just won’t have any of it. Is it ok to just let her go as long as she likes? She has really good weight gain etc!

If she’s back at her birth weight then I personally wouldn’t wake her and enjoy the extra sleep

If it’s just the night she may play catch up by shortening the times in the day. When my son was sleeping longer in the night his day feeds became every 1.5-2 hours. If there’s nothing wrong with her weight i wouldn’t wake her she will let you know when she’s hungry x

As long as she’s back to her birth weight/above, I wouldn’t wake her. She will wake if and when she is hungry, so make the most of the sleep!x
