@Katie I have a support belt for the day (not that it does much good) but can you sleep in the tape?
Could you speak to a chiropractor? It might be worth looking someone local up and giving them a call. They can support with pelvic alignment and make you more comfortable (as well as getting you physically prepared for the birth.)
I am the exact same right now but 2nd Jan is my c section date so just riding it out, cannot wait to sleep on my back again!!! Have resorted to sleeping on the sofa propped up, finding it more comfy than bed, may be worth a go?
Ps. A memory foam mattress topper was a game changer for me
Stretching helps a lot! Especially Cat cow stretches and child’s pose. Do you have a birth ball? Gentle bouncing, pelvic tilts and hip circles can all help alleviate pain. You can look up how to do these on youtube. Not long left to go fortunately! :)
I have SPD and the only comfy position is on my back! I spoke to my midwife and she said it’s ok if you’re propped up to 45 degrees (I use 4 pillows) and then have a long pregnancy pillow under my right side so it naturally pushes me to the left, even though I feel as if I’m on my back - I hope that helps! And she said your body would wake you up if there was a danger or issue x
Sometimes I sleep pretty much sat up with my head pillows in a V (4 to 6 of them 😂) and a big pillow by my feet to prop them up too 😂 sometimes it’s the only way I get any sleep at all. I found I fidget less in the night like this and therefore wake up in pain less xx
Yeah I’ve slept with the tape on a few times now, it’s waterproof so you can effectively keep it on overnight and shower with it on before changing it
Maybe try some kinesio tape or a pregnancy support belt
