My baby boy, I'm so blessed!! 🩷🩵✨

We welcomed our fourth baby into this world on Saturday night and still had a few days before my due date but I knew he was really ready to come. I had gotten stronger contractions for a hour after walking at the store so I called the L&D to give them a heads up. The contractions got shorter but very much closer together (1-2m) so after the second hour passed I made it to the hospital with contractions still coming. I was actually only 1cm when they checked me, but then I sped right through dilating and was laboring without the epidural for three hours before my bag popped, then all the sudden it was time to push and boy did he come out FAST and I just let him rip right out!! 🎉🎉 I was screaming right before transitioning. . . Just like a dramatic movie scene!! I'm still so thankful for my nurses who were supportive and so caring of me. They are just amazing 🩷✨ I was also pleased to have been able to breastfeed within 24 hours, what a big relief that the baby was alert and doing well. He is so sweet and we are growing a new bond that makes my heart happy. I had been so anxious to get home and hold my baby where we could really relax, so I'm happy to be home today. 💘🎉💕🙏 I hope you're all doing well, please reach out if you're going through stressful things or feeling depressed, I struggle myself now and then and there is always something you can do to get support.
