Gas pains

Is it normal for a baby with a virus? She has gastroenteritis and bronchitis for the moment and is having very painful gas pains and cramps and farts a loooot. My little girl is having so much pains and I’ve tried with the painkillers, she’s on antibiotics at the moment and she is in so much pain. It’s heartbreaking seeing her like that. She arches her back and farts and cries non stop. Any idea what could cause that?

I'll go to see a doctor. Plus, once on antibiotics, I'll give her some probiotics. Good luck x

My little girl had a tummy bug last week and would cry with tummy ache and then pump. I felt so bad for her. I just rubbed her belly and gave her cuddles. Hope your little one feels better soon xxx

@jessica thank you. I am feeling so bad for my baby too. It’s difficult seeing them like this. She would arch her back in every direction from pain 😓

@Jessica she vomited once and had diarrhea today 😓. But at least she slept through the night. Gave her water with electrolytes and she is keeping that down. It’s so difficult with this virus, it doesn’t seem to go away 😔

Poor thing it’s not fair for them at all. I hope you’re managing to sleep and rest too. My little one had the tummy bug for about 10 days. I took her to the gp and they said it could last 3 weeks!! Really hope she feels more herself soon 🩷
