Dummies recommendation

Hi moms, Looking for dummies recommendations for 3m+ babies. my baby is exclusively breastfed, but sometimes I feel he doesn't have a good latch. He doesn't open his mouth wide enough. His current dummies are due to be replaced, and I was doing some research about them. There are some brands that mimic the breast with a wider base. Do these promote a better latch?

Dr. Browns pacifiers were recommended by my son's dentist for helping with latch after he got his lip and tongue tie reversed.

1. I love the bibs pacifiers and 2. Maybe look into get a tongue and lip tie cut for him to be able to latch and eat better. And it can help suck on pacifiers better

If baby isn’t opening their mouth have they been assessed properly for oral ties? They are usually the culprit.

The midwife took a quick look at him and said he didn't have a tie but I will try to get him properly assessed. Thank you all

Midwives aren’t trained to properly assess oral ties. I had 2 midwives, a doctor and health visitor tell me that my little boy didn’t have one. When I saw a tongue tie practitioner they were able to show me his posterior tongue tie and sort it. Made a big difference!
