Literally just had the same thing with my son. Got a GP appointment and some laxatives prescribed. Only had to use it a couple times, he’s all sorted now.
Is he EBF? If so, this can be pretty normal if he’s still passing wind, gaining weight, is happy with. Soft tummy and lots of wet nappies. My wee girl only poos once a week and has gone 8 days without a bowel movement!! When he does go, if it’s solid then best get in touch with doc, though.
Yes, little bit of sugar and water? Also say 5 oz of milk 5 oz water 4 scoops always doesn’t xx

In that case I’d check with HV or doc as I’m not sure about bottle fed. Try not to worry in the meantime- I’m sure he’s grand. All the best x
We use gripe water for constipation and it works wonders.
Call HV or doctors and get an appointment and try and get infant gaviscone prescribed our little one was similar and it’s worked wonders
