Aptamil or Cow and Gate?

Good evening mamas, hope you all had a lovely day with your little ones. Which formula would you recommend for a breastfed baby, baby is one week old but she is keeping me up all night feeding round the clock. With my first he was exclusively breastfed, so I'm unsure as to which formula is best. I was going to mix feed but not until later on. The only difference I've noticed is that Aptamil is more expensive than Cow and Gate formula.

There isn’t really any difference, the regulations are so strict the formula is basically the same. I used cow and gate and I also combi fed.

I tried C&G but it made my little one throw up everytime, so I then tried Aptamil and she was on that until she turned 1

Formulas aren’t the same some contain fish oil palm oil etc others contain whole milk while some contain semi skimmed. Every baby tolerates formula brands differently. Both of these contain Fish oil though. I used Aptamil for my first he did well on it but i just hated the fishy smell. I chose Kendamil this time round contains whole milk and no fish or palm oils it’s been decent my only issue is availability. There are times when they have shortages and they can be out of stock everywhere so can be stressful

@Em thanks for saying this lol. I hate when people say all formulas are the same 😅 like no they are not!! If they were why do some kids react to one but not another lol
