Returning gifts

Is there any way to return gifts to Amazon (google image search shows they definitely came from Amazon) without letting the people that have bought the gift know. It says I need the gift number but I don’t really want to have to ask for them. I’ve been bought several duplicates of toys we already have. I don’t really want to just donate them as they are expensive gifts and I’d rather get my children something they wanted.

I would ask the person who gave you the gift, just let them know it’s a duplicate and you’d love to choose something else the children don’t have. If I was the person gifting, I really wouldn’t mind x

Yeah you can return gifts via amazon. I can't remember exactly how but we did it last year.

I would just explain to the person that its a duplicate and you would love to exchange it for a gift they can use.
