Ok thanks!
It can actually be beyond five or six before a kiddo stays dry at night. 🫠 My daughter is five and still wears Pull-Ups at night. Two different pediatricians and one urologist have all told me that it's hormonal and not considered an issue until around the age of eight.
My kids were both dry overnight by 2.5 years old so idk about that but I guess just nighttime pull ups? One of the signs a child is ready for potty training I thought was them waking up dry? My kids naturally started waking up dry around 2-2.5 years old and then to be safe I just limited their liquid intake right before bed and always made sure they used the potty before bed
That’s interesting! My son just turned 3 and he usually wakes up with a full diaper! He has other signs though, and I want to try it out!
It has a heavy hereditary component too! If you or the dad were bed wetters, your kids are more likely too.
Omg that is a fact for sure. I recall being an issue for my parents (they would run me to the toilet when I was 4). It didn’t last long tho after that …
My daughter was dry overnight at 2.5 as soon as she was potty trained during the day- never had any night issues
I think you’ll find that once they can control it during the day the nighttime will follow but we just used normal pull ups. My eldest did however need to be referred after being dry at night as he did start wetting the bed. I did buy plastic sheets.
Nappies at night time until they are consistently dry.
