Baby look for you at bedtime?

My husband does bedtime routine and has since the summer. My son still wakes up an hour or two into going to bed and comes and looks for me

Yeaa. We've recently transitioned to my husband doing bedtime with my son and my son sleeping in his own room. Most times he's ok with it but every few days he'll announce "I'm going by mommy!" and he'll come across promptly. He'll also come find us first thing in the morning- if we moved across to our bed during the night.
