Lemon ginger and honey water. Use vicks vapour on your chest, steam your sinuses with menthol. Keep hydrated. Or old wives remedy cut up some onion put in socks and wear to bed (honestly works to reduce coughing in bed!). Apart from that paracetamol and plenty fluids xxx

I've read that a spoonful of honey can be as effective as over the counter cough syrup. Plenty of vitamin C and keep your fluids up. It seems to be a really nasty virus going around, my eldest has been coughing all night. We'd only just got over another bug. Hope you feel better soon
