Breastfeeding

I’m a first time mom exclusively breastfeeding, I wonder is it normal for it to still be painful at 8 weeks? I keep looking at videos and I believe my baby is latching fine. Just would love to hear about your breastfeeding journey’s

I heard a lot of “it shouldn’t be painful” comments which just wasn’t helpful at all. It took probably 2-3 months maybe longer before it wasn’t painful for me anymore. It just seemed like my nipples needed time to get used to it. Hang in there, I know it can be rough!

I’m a first time mom. It was painful for a while, I think it took me longer to get use to. Once I got his tongue tie remove the pain was a whole lot less excruciating but it was still there. Then out of nowhere the pain came back again, that was because we were passing thrush back and forth. I’m now 5 months ebf with no pain unless he digs his little nails into my chest when I forgot to cut them😅
