Pumping would make you more comfortable if the fullness is painful.. that empty on both sides feeling is amazing.. You can always add the milk to their baths or make little popsicles when they start to teethe.. you could donate the stash if you started to accumulate.. Theres plenty to do with extra milk if you found that pumping makes you more comfortable but don't need to make bottles
Pumping will likely not help. The more that gets removed, the more you'll make. If you begin pumping, you'll tell your body to make even more. Your body will regulate to what baby needs. My 7 month old has almost always taken from 1 side per feed. It's not often she'll take from the other.
I think it depends on if you want to build up a stash or not. If it were me, I would pump the breast that isn’t emptied after the feed to build up a stash but if you don’t need to have a stash then I wouldn’t do that!
