Bath
Hi when did people have a bath? I’m three weeks today since c section and had a vacuum dressing on for a week. My scar is really small and nothing coming out of it, just absolutely desperate to get in the bath but don’t want to cause any damage

I showered at 2 weeks PP and then bathed at 4 weeks PP. As long as there is no scabbing it should be fine
Totally different by doctor I think, mine said to wait until 6 weeks.
I showered the day after my section, but didn't take a sit down bath until 6 weeks pp. Avoiding a bath is not necessarily due to the incision, it's to avoid uterine infection because the water/bacteria can travel up the vagina and you still have a dinner plate sized wound on your uterus from where the placenta detached.
