Help! Leaving baby for one night but he hates bottles
I am going to travel for a day soon and will need to leave my EBF 7 months old baby with grandparents. I tried to give him a bottle today but he totally refused it so I am now so worried he won’t take a bottle. How am I going to leave him 😰
Any tips on getting him to try the bottle?

However many different techniques we tried our first they never took a bottle but would happily drink milk from a tum tum straw cup from around 6 months, you could always try if bottle doesn't work. Good luck!

My 7month only occasionally takes the bottle and it took a few different types, it took a while, but she does like drinking from a small cup so try that!

If possible, I would suggest someone else gives your little one the bottle and not you - they know where to get it straight from the source 🤣 and for the next week give this bottle each day at a similar time - preferably one that's useful longer term, and not worry if they reject it for a couple of days. Generally takes atleast 7 tries for a new habit to stick
