Help! Feel totally lost

My baby has been suffering with eczema for a couple of months now (maybe more) and we have used a steroid cream and now use cetraben. The eczema came straight back after we stopped using the steroid cream. Not sure if we were even using the steroid cream correctly! Twice a day for 4 days, then completely came off. Eczema came straight back and worse; she now has this rash type thing on her back and we don’t know what to do!! Can anyone help? Haven’t been tested for any allergies yet so not sure about that. I’m applying the cetraben 3 times a day, she wears a baby grow and sleeping bag at night, does that make her too hot, does it then make it worse? She has it on her back and a little on her stomach.

Looks similar to my LO, I cut all the known triggers like food straight away then gradually brought each food type eg cows milk or eggs back in to tes twhich food it was. Mine turned out to be food related.

Try to cut dairy out and soya for at least 2weeks and than use the steroid cream to clear the eczema and see if it comes back after stopping the steroid. If eczema not come back that’s mean your baby have allergy. But also wearing too many layers with eczema baby it’s not good too hot plus have to use 100%cotton clothing everything and non scented non bio washing powder.plus NO daily bath☝🏼and make sure bath water is not too warm make it less than normal temp not cold but not warm either and every 3-4days it’s enough if have poo explosions and very messy that’s an exception but otherwise no no bath☝🏼and always moisturise every nappy change and make sure baby is not overdressed.i know it’s sounds a lot but it’s worth it. Also I tried many creams for my babies but the only thing was working it’s E45 itchy relief cream or Aveeno Dermexa moisturising cream non scented ☝🏼

Get dermol my little boy had it similar and I’d say that was the biggest thing that helped. In the bath every time and a really really sensitive was for clothes, always was everything first like new things. They gave me hydrocortisone but then eumavate for the bad bits in creases. But I think it does get better I’d say dermol in the bath helps the most xx

And bath every other day c

Dermol bath emoliant it is, that’s what our dermatologist gave him xx
