NIPT test

Has anyone had their fetal fractions come back around 2-2.6 and had success with a second draw with Didi twins? I had the first draw done at 12 weeks and 2 days I believe. I want to know as soon as possible, but my next ultrasound isn't until February 11th, and we don't have an extra $90 for a boutique ultrasound right now because we are moving into a bigger house.

Not me personally but I worked in OB and it happens a lot. You "should" be able to get clear results at 10 weeks but every person is different and for some mamas it takes a few extra weeks to get the fetal fraction necessary ❤️ I got my draw done at 10 weeks exactly and found out I was having one boy and one girl 8 days later, so I hope this second draw goes smooth for you!! I could never wait for an ultrasound now

@Kylee Thank you! Yeah, I'm too impatient to wait until 20 weeks. Hopefully they can get me in next week for a redraw, I will be 14 weeks Tuesday. I knew at 12 weeks with my son so it's so difficult waiting 😂

Ohhh yeah I totally understand!! I was so spoiled because I worked in OB too so i saw them every other day my entire pregnancy and we could clearly see what they were by like 14 weeks but I still would've gone crazy waiting for the scans 😅

@Kylee omg that would be a dream. I think it's crazy they expect you to go a full 10 weeks between the dating scan and the anatomy scan, then with normal pregnancies no other ultrasounds? Just crazy. I'm actually thankful for my MFM appointments 😂 The boutique ultrasound place near me has a package where you can go for a quick check every two weeks, plus two longer sessions for the gender and then a 3D scan at 28-32 weeks, I wanted to do that soooo bad but it's expensive and we have too much going on right now with our move and my husband got in a wreck right before we found out I'm pregnant, so it's just been a mess
