Very sudden poo frequency change
My lg was 5 weeks when she suddenly went from 5-6 poos a day to suddenly not pooing.
GP prescribed lactulose and after 5 days (2 days of the lactulose) she did a sludgy poo.
Then nothing again for another 4.5 days before another sludgy poo (that was today, she is 6 weeks old now)
She was mostly on breastmilk until 2 days ago and she is now mostly on formula.
Is this very sudden change to her poo frequency (and consistency) normal? Has anyone else had this happen?

Told to expect this by the health visitor as they begin to process milk better. HV said Longest time she had seen was 10 days between! but to expect them to be pretty messy when they do arrive.
My son was like this and we were told by the paediatrician that it was normal 😊

This is normal, my little boy who's a month old didn't poo for a week i was very concerned but the midwife said it's normal for them not to poo for 2 weeks! we've been doing leg exercises like riding a bike and toes to their nose which is helping xx
