Tea at nursery

We have a snack tea or if we are having something he can have he will have some of that

I think I would when they have it at that time or a small portion anyway. Our nursery have it at half 4 so we just give a snack xx

Exactly the same at our nursery and I either ideally give him a little of what we are eating or a snack tea / weetabix or porridge 😊

Yeah he has tea at 430 and we offer some of our dinner. Sometimes he eats a lot sometimes not so much but I’d be hungry if I ate at 430 so we always offer. Their tea is also things like beans on toast/ egg on toast etc so not particularly dinner like x

He does but he’s always hungry for dinner at about 6pm as usual so I’m not sure their portions are very big

Sorry to jump on this post but it's made me think I'm not feeding my LO enough on nursery days 😭 what time is everyone giving the tea at home after nursery and what time is bed time? I'm not sure I'd fit an extra tea or snack in before bed or she might fall asleep in her plate 😂

@Dana-Claire we give dinner at home around 6ish and bedtime is between 7 and 8 depending on when he wakes from his nap as it varies slightly each day x

I usually give my LO a snack once he get in from nursery especially as some days he might not eat much of what nursery offer at tea time so usually give him a little pancake and yogurt or toast about 5.30ish once we are home then bedtime bottle by 6.30-7 hes also shattered after nursery
