Once they can sit up on their own. Mine didn’t wanna be in the baby tub anymore at that point so around 6 months.
We’ve been using the regular bath lately. It’s much easier to clean little ladies nooks and crannies. Lol her toys do float away but I play with her and will put her on her belly to one end of the bath so she can play in the shallow water
We still use the collapsible box bath as it doesn’t use as much water and there’s plenty of space
@Caroline See I've just got a larger baby bath which I had a little lay down bath seat and I'm looking for a sit up one for it now but I feel like a baby bath could still be used at like 2 years or so because it uses so much less water
When they could sit up without swaying around. So 6m
Always used the main bath even when he was tiny. Had an angel care baby seat
I would say my LO was about 4/5 months when she was sitting up we just used an anti slip mat in the baths
it’s all preference. my guy is 9 months and still uses the baby bath without the lay down inserts. it’s made to be used up to 12 months and i’m hoping we can use it until he can stand on his own because i think baths are gross to begin with 😂
When she could wiggle lots at about 4 months
We only have a shower, so I used the baby tub in the shower until my kids could shower standing up
My son is 3 and still likes his little bath tub. It is a larger one though that you just take out the insert when they can sit.
Mine was too big for the baby bath around 3-4 months! 🙈 we have a baby bath dam so can fill half the bath and not waste water. We actually got ours free from our water supplier.
We stopped using the baby bath when he was almost 1. It's all about what you're comfortable with and what works for baby
@Bianca Mine says 2 years and reviews say it's a great size for dogs 😂 For reference, it's this one https://amzn.eu/d/aVxNwhp

@Lauren I did look at the dams! It was a toss up between a dam and a big baby bath
Once they sit up on their own
When they were sitting up on their own I switched to just bath with like a couple inches of water so they can splash around
Definitely go for the dam! We still use it for my 3yo.
that one is so neat!! i’ve never seen one with a stand that would’ve saved my back😂 i checked and mine also goes up to 2 years although might isn’t as spacious as yours https://amzn.eu/d/hlsLxVM
also thank u for the link to european amazon i will be on it all day now 😂
We started using the big bath at 4.5 months as LO was too tall for the baby bath. We used a slightly reclined seat for her, and when she could sit up, we used an upright bath seat xx
Mine’s eleven months and we just switched to the larger baby bath. It’ll be at least six months I think, before I feel comfortable running a full bath for him.
I switched when my son started walking at 11.5 months and wouldn't sit anymore. Mine was the mini tub style
We switched at 8 months. I would have likely gone longer if my kid wasn't so big
We switched when he got too big for the baby bath. Yes it probably uses a little more water but we have it fairly shallow now whereas before it was deeper. He moves around to play with the toys.
We’ve started now at 7 months mostly cause the other day I had to bathe my 2 year old and her together. I just fill the water up to cover her legs mostly. And the toys do float away but she’s comfortable crawling to get them or just grabbing another closer
We only used a baby bath for probs first 8 weeks, then just laid her down in bath x
I’ve always bathed my kids in our bath tub when they were really little before they could sit up I got in and held them. I would just do whatever is most comfortable for you!
We stopped when she could sit up by herself

We always used the main bath, just with a seat. We only filled it up a few inches though. Even now he’s nearly 4yo and it’s not that deep.
Honestly, around a month. We found it easier to just have the kids in the bath with us after then. Once they were 6 months and could sit up, we let them go in the big bath in a seat
You can buy a bath barrier so it doesn’t waste too much water filling the whole bath tub
4 months I filled the bath with about 2 inches of water
Yep it’s a waste of water that’s why we bathed him in laundry tub until he was like a year old and then I bought a lil blowup tub for inside the big tub he did that for another year and from about 2 has aways had showers w the occasional bath w bath bombs but that’s not often. Since hubby bathed the baby, he didn’t like to bend over the big tub so as a baby was bathed in laundry tub. We never bought a baby bath and we didn’t use a seat
We had them in the main bath from birth in a little support or seat. There's not a specific age you need to change how you do things, it's just what works for you.
