My eldest had chicken pox when he was about 4 months but really mild as I was breastfeeding. It was weirdly easier being so small he couldn't scratch and bleed like the do when they're older x
If you’ve had chicken pox before, your baby should still have immunity from you. They have some immunity for the first few months I think before it wears off, whether you’re breastfeeding or not. My first son was exposed when he was around the same age and I spoke to my GP about it and that’s what they told me. They also said to keep an eye on baby and get in touch again if needed. Speak to your GP if concerned x
I think I read they are immune if breastfeeding as have your antibodies?x
