What was your child's favorite Christmas gift?

I used to feel so giddy at Christmas as a kid, but that magic sort of faded as I got older. But it's coming back now that my children are getting excited about Christmas gifts and I love the wonder of it all as the next present is opened! So, what was your child's favorite gift? Comment if you want to be more specific 😊

My son was super excited about his new magnatiles! He got a set called Downhill Duos, so he can use the road pieces to build ramps (which he loves using his Cars Mini Racers and sending them down the ramps). He also got a dinosaur magnatiles set he's enjoying. He also got a ride-on mini Amazon Delivery Truck that came with fake packages and mini cars inside, so he's been enjoying bringing packages to my husband and I 😂! My daughter is 2 months old, so she obviously doesn't know what's happening yet, but my mom got her a mini Cuddle and Kind doll that I'm super excited about...it's so cute!

@Grace I just looked up that truck and OMG THAT IS SO FUCKING CUTE 😭

This cool wooden le toy van car set, they’re models of actual cars, and my baby is obsessed obsessed obsessed with vehicles. Out of everything under the tree that car set was the clear favorite. I have a friend who’s really into cars so she ended up getting them for the baby, and my partner flipped out when he really started looking at them. He was like, naming all the different cars they were models of lol. My baby played with them literally all day long yesterday and was super low maintenance due to being captivated by the cars. So really they were a favorite for the family lol.

@Ana Moore its hilarious 😂😂 my husband's aunt got it for him and I'm obsessed 😂

Stuffed animals were my daughters favourite lol, she also got a shopping cart she was putting them all in and taking them for a ride 😂😂😂

@Alyssa 🌹 we did mini shopping carts two Christmases ago and my son still plays with it 🥹 he enjoys taking it to the store with us and filling it with toys 😅 (i usually only allow this when grandma comes along because he picks too much 🫣)

A magnet tiles marble run set is the clear winner for my three year old. We already had magnet tiles though so it was a safe choice. My 5 month old doesn't seem to have a favourite but is a huge fan of having more things that light up and can go in her mouth.

My 2 year old was just very overwhelmed and didn’t really sit down and take it in 😂 but she’s been playing with her dolls house the most now that it’s all calmed down a bit. My 4 year old went on and on and on about wanting the Bluey plane toy… not arsed about it since she opened it 😂 her favourite is her barbie house I think

@🍄‍🟫🍄 precious 🥹

@Ana Moore aww!! The miss Rachael stuff is so cute! I've seen it at Target!

We haven’t opened the power pony, bumper car, scooter or tricycle yet & I haven’t opened none of my sons stem / science activities - so far he’s been playing with their karaoke microphone a lot and the remote control stunt car that can roll on both sides -, my girls have also been playing with their vtech aquarium a lot and their Montessori busy board

Magnetic tiles, toy robot and a bumper car 🥰

@Grace I love cuddle and kind animals! I think my son has at least 7 of them and then my mom got me 4 more for our baby girl due in March. My almost 3 year old honestly gets so excited about each gift. His reactions are out of a movie, like you’d think we’d coached him or something 🤣 I know he loves his Paw Patrol lookout tower (he doesn’t watch the show just loves the characters lol), wooden blocks and a backpack full of musical instruments. Lots of magnatiles as well and two Mickey toys he kept mentioning. He had seen the paw patrol tower at target before so when he was opening it Christmas morning he goes “I was missing this!! From target!!” lol

My daughter has been OBSESSED with the toddler camera we got her, she’s taken over 300 pictures of everyone 🤣

@GMF I can feel I'm gonna get obsessed with Cuddle and Kind 😂!! My son was really interested in the one my daughter got, so he might get one for his birthday in February 😂!! Aww I love when the recognize they got something they were asking for 🥹

@Liv this sounds hilarious 😂

The boxes they came in🫠😂

I just looked at the options and saw that clothing was an option my kids are so young that I don’t even put clothing under the tree for them I just hang it in their closets immediately. Idk what was the point of my parents putting clothes under the tree for me when I was a very young child lol it was the most disappointing gift for me as a child as I’d quickly fling it off to one side 🫠I only really cared about toys during that particular time in my life 🫠🥴

@Donna oh yeah, my son asked for pajamas and totally ignored them when he opened them 😂😂! I put it just in case someone with older kids needed that option haha!

This play gym set is a bus, slide & a basketball hoop and I’d say it’s the winner. But his play kitchen in the back is a very close second!

Her art easel ❤️

By far his favorite gift was Dino figurines and after that I’d guess playdoh

His car engine toy kit that he built with his father and his mobile tool kit. My child is like his father, likes working on cars and fixing things around the house. He also have real toys like hammer, screwdriver, flathead, ect,. same goes with car tools that his father would give to him.

My oldest and youngest got gifted a play kitchen from Santa and they both LOVE it. Although my oldest was also super excited about his candy in his stocking

We got our girls a barbie dream house as a shared present. I put it together yesterday and they have spent hours and HOURS playing with it. I've never seen them play with anything for that long. It was the clear star of Christmas this year

Play water sink

He loved his magnetic tile set that had a car run on the magnets once it’s set up…my brother bought that for him. Also his huge playdoh kitchen which my sister bought for him. I just bought him clothes shoes and books (and school stuff for next year- new lunch box drink bottle etc) but they bought him the bigger presents.

Underwater animal felt board for my 3 year old. Object permanence box for my 11 month old

Toniebox character

A baby doll and stroller

a toddler kitchen

Santa put new undies in my 3yo stocking and he was PUMPED he tore open all 6 pair screaming what color they were and holding them up 🤣

She got a tricycle but her favorite gift was a little toy car from the bargain section of target 😐

@Liv that's hilarious 😂

@Victoria~ sounds about right 😂😂

My daughter got a small fold out Belle castle and small princess figures which she absolutely loved. Also a Belle dress and accessories she loved. She loved the castle so much we are actually going to get her an Ariel or Moana one for her birthday in Jan!

My daughter's favorite Christmas present was her big paw patrol lookout tower. The one with the loop track. She played with it for HOURS. A close second is her camera she got from Santa.

@Alyssa ooh we might be getting my son this for his birthday! (The paw patrol tower)

@Grace my daughter LOVES it. She's obsessed with Paw Patrol. It's really satisfying watching it though lol.
