@Chloe Thank you 🙏 i never thought of choking risk..😱
@Chloe i wanted to say that i dissolved 1 biscuit into his milk earlier to see how is this supposed to work and completely dissolved..is it still a choking risk? x
@Vanesa still a choking risk due it being thicker than the milk even if barely noticeable, you wouldn’t let them lie down on their back and eat a biscuit so I’m guessing that’s why this is considered a choking hazard, it’s not recommended to add anything into babies bottles to make them fuller as it’s completely natural for babies to still be waking frequently at this stage in understand how frustrating it can be though as my daughter barely sleeps and have considered many things to try and help but unfortunately it’s just not worth the risk xx
I wouldn’t give it to my baby. This is very old school and a young italian paediatrician would not recommend it either a) chocking b) sugars c) doesn’t really mean your baby won’t wake up and resettle back only with a bottle . They taste good though 😋 have it in your coffee 😝 italian here 🙋🏽♀️
@Keeley thank you 🙏 it does slightly feel a bit thicker just w 1 biscuit and you meant to put 2 of them apparently..so i wont do it but i was so desperate 2 nights ago was waking 5 times 😂
@Merion yesss she is very old school 😂 i’m glad you replied, was wondering if any italian would recommend it or not 🙏i will have them with my coffee..they smell so good 😅
@Em This is soo good , thank you for sharing x how is this app called? xx
Its the same here- when we were babies lots of parents put a rusk baby biscuit dissolved in the bottle and made the hole bigger, it was normal practice about 30 years ago, but sooo not recommended now, just like how we were put to sleep on our front, or they would put some whiskey on the gums for teething- I cannot believe people used to do these things but things change and thankfully now we know better 😳😳 If you think baby is waking hungry it would be better to do supper like a bowl of porridge before bed or more milk xx
@Vanesa the app is called Yuka xx
@CeeCee She is telling me exactly the same things 🫣 the other day she put some grappa or how is called on baby gums and my partner just screamed at her 😂 she got me so many biscuits keeps saying my baby isn’t full bcse he wakes so many times a night and to give biscuits in milk..😅
Grappa 🤦🏽♀️ 😭
Nope. Not recommended here as it’s a choking risk, and it doesn’t work. I’d stick to offering them as occasional snacks, but wouldn’t add anything at all to his milk.
