Absolutely normal. My LO didn’t show any interest at all until 9 months and didn’t actually eat anything substantial until 12 months. I persevered, continued offering atleast 1 meal a day but absolutely no pressure to eat or even try. Even touching the food is excellent exposure for them. Maybe stop for a week, then try again. You’ll get there mama. x
Breastmilk is still the main source of nutrition until they are 1! Don’t worry if she is taking her time, you are doing well :) Just keep offering everyday, you can offer one ingredient at the time. Try eating with her as well, give her a strawberry and have one yourself too, try doing this way
Have you tried eating with her? My daughter was like this for a little bit when she started weaning but when we would eat the same time as her, she seemed to show more of an interest in her food because she was watching us eat ours. She’s now 19 months and has always preferred to eat with us xx
My little boy is 10 months and has only really seemed to enjoy it in the last month or so, and even then he only really takes anything substantial at dinner and just plays with and throws breakfast and lunch. I was really worried about it at first but I’ve noticed that since I’ve been more laid back, he’s actually enjoying it more and loves dinner time so much. My health visitor said not to worry about intake at all until they’re 1.
Don’t stress the first year is all about learning and fun, sensory. They still get all they need from there milk x
