They'll all have different rules. If you only get 15hours funding then some places might say just to go for either 5 mornings or 5 afternoons which would be 3 hours. If you speak to them direct they might let you do something else like 2 full and one half day but it's really up to the school.

Depends if they have a funded place or not from 2 they get 15 hours which is 5 mornings or afternoons. Or you can do 2 full days and one half. If they’re over 3 they can go 5 days a week, however if you are paying for it there’s no reason why they can’t go full time

@Caroline thank you ill email the school after the holz 😊

So for my daughters, the school nursery guaranteed 15 hours a week (mornings for us) but that’s to accommodate as many people as possible. They later offered us 30 hours she went for the school day… all will vary, but 15hrs usually puts people off so the uptake lowered so ask on the chances of getting 30 hours

@Emma thanx I'm going to have to see what they say. As I'm going to have to factor work and that in too..

Mine are in private nursery atm both receiving 15 hours free funding, after May baby turns 3 next year she’ll be eligible for the 30 years free funding but not until September term. (I had to triple check this too! It’s so confusing!) so my nursery school application states “half day or full day (full day only available for children eligible for 30 hours funding)” so as the start date isn’t until she’s eligible then it’s full days! But the 30 hours for 3 year old doesn’t come in till January so some schools won’t have updated their application forms (I’m guessing!)
