Formula fed babes

During growth spurt between 30 and 33oz and not during growth spurt between 24 and 26oz - boy 4.5 months still has 2-3 feeds through night to get this amount too xx

25oz roughly a day & she sleeps all night x

Ours has about 5 or 6 6oz bottles a day When he’s teething a lot less he prob has half of that! (He had about 4 days over Christmas doing this but back to normal now) He occasionally wakes up in the night , if he does he has a 5oz But most of the time he sleeps through now

I’ve noted down what my boys had in the last 24 hours he’s had 33 ounces altogether goes 6/7 hours during the night from about midnight till 6/7 x

It can vary each day, but on average I’d say 28oz and she will wake up once normally for a change and a bottle. She has slept through a few times though x

Between 28 and 35ox. 4-5 7oz bottles. X

4-5 7oz bottles, last feed usually about 7pm and he doesn't wake for night feeds anymore x

@Katie when you say it varies.. do you offer a bigger bottle and see how much she drinks from each bottle or just make as you go? Just wondering how you ' feed on demand' as such with formula if you aren't following any schedule? Thanks

@Kath and do you have any sort of schedule or just make up feed whenever baby cues for it?

4 months here and she drinks around 25-28oz a day and no night feeds anymore. Usually has her last bottle between 8 and 9pm. I offer 6oz feeds every bottle and she'll drink anywhere between 4-6oz and usually has 5 bottles but sometimes 6 if she's been having smaller feeds x

4months old and he usually sleeps through the night. So from around 8am (first feed) to 8pm (last feed) he has around 30-35oz. I offer 7oz but he varies on 5-7oz per feed

My boy is a little tank at 4 mths old he has around 6 6oz bottles and also Breast milk on demand,he sleep through the night so it feels like all I do is feed him xx

My LO is 4.5 months and she’ll have either 4/5 8oz bottles a day and is sleeping all through the night, so no more night feeds x

Mine 5 months in a couple of weeks and she drinks x4 8oz bottles and sleeps through the night

I always make a 210ml bottle and she has as much as she wants - she rarely does the 210ml but I’d rather leave some than her still be hungry. She tends to start getting fussy about 2.5 to 3 hours after she last ate so that’s how I know she’s hungry. I just make sure I’ve made a bottle for 2.5 hours after she last ate. I’m a FTM so have no idea what I’m doing 😂 but this seems to work well for us. Last night she went almost 11 hours through the night without waking up so she’s definitely feeding enough in the day x

@Katie sounds like you got it sussed. I'm a 2nd time mum and I can't remember a thing lool

My baby is 4 months old and has 7-8oz 4-5 times a day so around 35oz ish xxx
