In BC and not at all. In both private and public I’ve experienced the same. You can provide an exempt letter if you have one or write one up yourself. :)

@Danielle I don’t think your response is very kind, I think you should rethink your response. How can you speak about children in this way? Whatever decision a parent makes does not change how precious or beautiful, or innocent a child is. They don’t deserve to be spoken about this way. If you simply disagree with a parents choice you could have worded it differently, Or not commented at all as this doesn’t even help the said parent with their question.

The educated and responsible thing to do is have your child vaccinated unless they have health reasons where they cannot. In that case, I believe schools do make exceptions.
There’s no issue with it in Canada, I’m in Manitoba and there’s no restrictions for kids being vaccinated to go to school, school is mandatory they worry more about kids going to school then what vaccines they have or not

I personally don’t share my beliefs with just anyone as it’s a personal boundary that I have (not everyone has access to me or my families health or other personal information) but I do not judge anyone and what decisions they make in their life. I don’t understand why a question put into a forum that is supposed to be accepting and understanding that we are ALL moms and all make the best decision for our own families results in judgement, shame or putting another person down. It’s quite literally what is wrong with the Mom community since we all face many pressures, and opinions forced onto us. I just think responding to the question if you have the answer is what is appropriate, it wasn’t asked as something that needs to be convinced to do otherwise, or change their choice. Or shamed for their choice either.

@Ally H you do realize that these vaccines were created to prevent serious, often life-threatening diseases that historically caused widespread illness, disability, and death. FACT. If everyone were to stop vaccinating we would end up with so many illnesses again that we have managed to limit. Luckily, most people go with the evidence and not their hypothetical theories to keep their children and the public safe. You’re welcome!

@Brittany well said. As a parent who does not vaccinate or medicate, I always encourage other parents to do what is best for their family. I never impose my beliefs on anyone unless asked. The vaccination status of my children is never discussed and kept private (hence the incognito because I have family members and friends on this app). Should someone ask, I’m always honest but never openly release this information. This app was made for moms to support other moms regardless of their needs. My question was clearly directed to parents of unvaxxed kids. If the post does not apply to you, move along 🙂

The fact you're too scared to post not as incognito says everything. Agree with Kaitlyn and it should be way harder for unvaccinated kids idc if you feel targeted or oppressed, good. Feel that way til you listen to the people who spent years researching these things or until your kids fall so I'll or even lose their lives because you didn't give them proper medical care you have free access to. No excuse to not be educated and do what you've been told is best for your kid but you choose to willfully ignore to listen to non scientific bs and put your kids life at risk. I feel sorry for those kids, they deserve better parents who put their health first over their conspiracy theories. If you're gonna take your kid to a doctor and listen to them for a broken bone you better listen to what they say about vaccines too, you can't pick and choose what stuff they have backed by science that you want to believe and follow. Follow it all or don't use it at all if you don't trust them that much then and see how you do
@Jaelyn lolll this post bringing in all the far lefties! We have done loads and loads of research and digging, hence our decision not to vaccinate. Why would I feel targeted or oppressed? For doing what I believe is best for the health and safety of my children? How about this… you listen to the people who have spent years researching and profited billions of dollars off your kids jabs. I’ll listen to the people who have been severely injured by these “so carefully” studied jabs. Also, the simple fact that you said our healthcare is “free” just shows exactly what kind of mindset and voter you are 😂
@Ally H you can always dig deep enough to find answers that fit your own narrative. I go on factual history and diseases like smallpox, polio, measles and whooping cough didn’t just magically become less of a problem. This choice does impose on other people which is why those who don’t have unvaxxed children have commented.

OP, just curious what you meant when you said you don't medicate? Do you mean things like vitamins? Or nsaids (tylenol/advil) and prescriptions, too?
@Jess we don’t use OTC or prescription medications. My boys have never had a drop of Tylenol or any other meds. I’m a firm believer of building a healthy immune system naturally. This doesn’t mean if god forbid there was ever an emergency I wouldn’t resort to medication because I would but for all minor childhood sicknesses, I let their immune systems do what they were meant to do!

Does any of you smoke? Or formula feed ? Did you guys ever used lysol to clean anything, did you guys know that it was promoted to be a douching kit in the 1930-60s that would be used as a contraceptive by medical doctors and so on… so excuse me if I am a little bit sceptical on what to believe from doctors/companies that are funded by those vaccines/drugs and so on !

@maria I got the amount required to keep my job. You can’t compare the Covid vaxx to these. I don’t think all vaccines that are recommended are necessary but some certainly are. Your other examples make no sense as they affect solely the individual, while unvaccinated children are a risk to others and that’s why people get so worked up over this.
@maria also, you realize all children develop differently right? Neither of my children get sick often and my daughter is extremely advanced and my son is average.. they are also toddlers so umm weird take on trying to blame vaccines on different times children develop. I just wanted to add this as a mic drop 🎤 for anyone who advocates for vaccines without doing their own research. Here's a video of Stanley Plotkin, the creator of childhood vaccines, who has never taken a single vaccine himself. In the video, he admits in court to ingredients in the vaccines and that monkey virus cells were used in the polio vaccine. It's eye-opening. Many people are just repeating what they've been told without looking deeper, and it’s clear that they’re falling for lies and misinformation. There’s even been more recent acknowledgment that vaccines cause autism. It’s unfortunate, but it takes some effort to do your own research rather than just relying on mainstream sources.
