@Jasmyn I'm the same, I am going to do it ✨ I feel like go to school now is just like for the sake of it not actually gaining much, so risky now too and not a nice place I feel like the education system is not good
Same boat. I'm going to homeschool my little one at least kindergarten through elementary and reevaluate middle school time.
My oldest is homeschooled and he loves it. We decided to homeschool because I personally had quite a few learning disabilities as a child and school was not my husbands strong suit. So we felt homeschooling would be a good choice for our kids until they’re old enough to choose differently. We have our own at home curriculum that he’s works on daily and then we also have him enrolled in a homeschool community program that he attends once a week with other homeschooled kids.
I tried, but my oldest has autism so it was difficult getting the services he needed.
We did during the pandemic. I learned a lot that's still helping me connect better to what my kids do in school now. Our little school has excellent participation options for parents. Hopefully staying till middle school - our public school is pretty good but my oldest gets very deregulated when she's around public school kids during break week camps. An excellent teacher ( now retired)from our school gave me this advice: ' we can only really solve one year at a time of school, we have to pay attention to how this works for everyone involved'
I want to! Mainly because of how schools have changed in ways I don’t support and I don’t want my children exposed to certain things
