Going abroad with a baby

Hey, so my boyfriend and i take our wee girl to Torremolinos in May and by then she will be about 6 months old. Has anyone got tips for taking a wee one away that age? My wee girl is also formula fed and we use MAM bottles for her. How has everyone went about making bottles up when abroad? We have a rapid cool & flask but not sure if thats allowed on planes etc for feeding on the plane? I suggested possibly taking some pre-made formula from the supermarket? All suggestions welcome x

I took my wee girl away at 6 months and I took pre made bottles on the plane and it was fine, I took a collapsible basin I got on Amazon for like 12 quid to wash bottles even though I wasn’t sterilising at home at that point the water abroad is different so I used Milton tablets. Bottled water can also be high in sodium but the ones that were safe for babies have a picture of a baby bottle on the back. So we used that to wash and sterilise and also to put in the kettle for her bottles. She only gets water or milk at home but I gave her apple juice when we were away to make sure she was drinking enough as it was 34 degrees when we were away. You can take your pram right up to the plane door and they will put it in the hold luggage for you. Make sure you have a good quality sun canopy, some of the cheaper ones are actually really unsafe and can over heat them in the pram although I’m sure there are some cheaper ones that work just fine, we have a bugaboo pram so we just bought the

You can bring the rapid cool and any formula you need on the plane, whether that's pre made bottles, boiled water, powder formula all is allowed ☺️ I travel from Edinburgh airport quite often with my 5 month old cause I'm originally from Dublin so go back to see family and it's never an issue they just ask you to take any liquid out of their baby bag so they can swab it ☺️

One that goes with that. I also offered loads of fruit to get liquid into her too. I’d take a bottle for when you get on the plane and then another for when you get off, we were quite a while getting though passport control and then waiting on bags etc so it really helped. I had her in something that covered her arms and legs for the plane as it was cold on the plane and I had a strappy vest underneath and put shorts on her just before we got off the plane as the transfer bus was roasting!!!
