Confused with formula

My baby is 8 months old. Breast fed about 5 feeds a day (not including over night) feeds and on 3 meals a day. I’m currently living abroad and have a massive milk supply stashed in freezer but when we move back home in February I won’t have any freezer milk. I am going to a wedding and away for the weekend when I got back and little one will be 10 months old then. So I am going to have to start using some formula as supply is not enough to pump anymore. She hasn’t had formula since she was about 4 months old. I’m confused as to what she will be on. I see stage one and stage 2 I assumed she will be on stage 2 but then we have a tub of Kendamill stage one and the feeding guidelines on that cover 7-12 months? Will this be ok to use? Or will I need to get another tub?

Not familiar with that brand but since baby is getting nutrition from food as well, there's no reason not to finish what you have

You can still use stage one. Hv told me they advertise 2 because they can’t advertise 1. My sons 11 months old and still takes stage 1

You can use either stage 1 or 2 after 6 months… in the uk it’s illegal to advertise stage 1 formula so brands created stage 2, it is the same nutritionally except it has more iron in (iron levels drop at 6 months old). Stage 2 you can get cheaper as it’s available in offers as well as getting loyalty points on it too so it works out cheaper to go to stage 2. The nhs will always say not to move on as they don’t want people benefiting from formula feeding (getting loyalty points etc) x

Stage one is perfectly fine. My LG is on prescription milk and is 11.5 months and is still on stage one. Stage 2 is for 12 months and up if they don’t like say cows milk. This is what I have been told anyways.
