I generally eat healthy and cause I want to, I do enjoy it. But the both times I was pregnant, I was dead craving McDonald’s and KFC, stuff I haven’t had since I was like 15. It’s so backwards 😅
I normally eat rather healthy but since cravings started oh my I am wanting all the crap foods and I cannot get enough of Coke Zero 😍
Girl, before I even tested positive, around 7-8dpo, I was like “I need a double cheeseburger”. So I ordered 2 at like 2am lol, inhaled them in a blink of an eye and was like ok, I need to test tomorrow 😆 I didn’t have any tests so had to order, but got my positive at 10dpo so for me fast food cravings are something that just comes with the pregnancy. I would love to know if there’s a scientific explanation for it, besides just “hormones” lol.
@Holly honestly it’s been since 6 weeks but now my main craving is a plain chicken burger with cheese 😂🤦🏽♀️ x
😆😆 this baby is already running the show haha. They say things simmer down a bit around the 2nd trimester, so you’ll know in about a months time if that’s the case for you 😄 one of my friends lived on McDonald’s and crisps her entire pregnancy and went back to eating normally the moment her daughter was out of her lol
@Holly oh my gosh 😂 I currently hate the smell of my fridge and anything cooking so I have to go upstairs when my partner cooks as I can’t cook at the moment 🤦🏽♀️🤢 but the thought and taste of salty fast foods are just hitting the spot for me 😂 let’s hope it calms by 2nd trimester, took me ages to lose weight and now I’m gonna have to start again once this baby is born 😂😂 xx
So apparently craving salty foods is because you’re not drinking enough water. I had the same issue and started drinking 2/3 of my Stanley cups of water which is like 1L per cup. As soon as I started doing that the salty food crazing went. I’m 6w tomorrow but my sacs already measuring like 6w 4day and the nausea is real for me. Just suddenly I couldn’t even look at food. I can force myself to eat but the nausea is so bad
Maybe try the water thing as @Jasmine said above, but it wasn’t the case for me. I started drinking like a mad woman even before I got a vfl, it was my first sign retrospectively, I had a massive jug of water by my bed and I’d be done with it before I even got to sleep lol I never drank like I did in both my pregnancies
@Jasmine I read that but I drink 2-3 litres per day anyway so not sure 😅😩
@Holly I drink through the night too so really not sure unless the fat girl inside me wants the food as well as the baby 😂😂😂
Girl hahaha I gained like 6kg before the end of my 1st trimester, it was awful haha but some people just react to hCG like this and we’re all different. Some are lucky to just grow a lil bump, some (like me or my mother) - not so much lol I’d say enjoy this time and growing your little babe and you can deal with whatever comes with it once the baby arrives ☺️
@Holly omg I’ve already gained like 2/3kg I’m only 6/7w
@Holly very true, aslong as baby is happy and healthy and it makes it earthside my weight isn’t a concern until after I give birth 😅x
I craved KBBQ the first trimester, KFC the 2nd and Taco Bell the 3rd with my son 🤣
