Feeding
Hi all! My newborn is 10 days old he weighs around 7lb now but has been showing signs of hunger after feeds so we upped his bottle to 120ml and he had no problems getting it down. Is this a normal amount or should he be having less?

He should be having between roughly 475-635mls per 24hours for his weight. If he’s happy with that amount then brilliant
My little girl is 10 days old & she’s having between 3-4 oz each feed. She has a feed every 2-3 hours!
My little boy is 3 weeks old today and is having 5oz in the day and around 4ish at night. Feeds every 3 hours but sometimes is late on the morning feeds due to being asleep. When the health visitor came round he had put on 1lb 6 in 2 weeks and she said that was more than fine! As long as baby is happy and healthy i’d say you’re all good! Every baby is different xx
