Milk feedings

Hi, sorry might be a silly question but my girl has 4x8oz bottles and 2 meals. Today she's had 6oz, 3.5oz, 6oz and then just waiting until later to give her final bottle. She usually absolutely devours her milk and her solid feeds. I feel like it might be because she's weaning but it feels like a big drop? The 3.5oz bottle we were out so she was very distracted.

They fluctuate I find.. mine went through a phase of only drinking 4/5oz of his 8oz bottles but now he’s back to drinking the whole lot of all his bottles.. I think they just have off days x

If feed a bottle whilst out it’s normally a lot less as he gets so distracted and sometimes also if I’ve miss timed it and left it too close to a sleep window he will fall asleep half way through. I wouldn’t worry unless they drop a lot more and it becomes a regular thing. They are like us, sometimes super hungry and other times not so much. Today I’ve already done 4 bottles which is normally our day of milk but he was fussing and hungry so looks like it’s 5 today

Yeah @Chloe mine has fluctuated like that. He has good and average days but I find he's not gone back to those amounts every time and the only thing I can put it down to is the meals x

LO needs to have between 21-28 oz and day till 1 year old so if your that worried hold back on solids but as long as they are hitting 21oz within 24 hours it's fine my LO is the same completely drains her morning and bedtime bottles but the 2 in between sometimes on 4 oz's from 8 oz

@molly yeah the first and last bottles she drains but the ones in the middle she's more fussy on. I'm putting the 3.5oz bottle down to her being distracted tbh. I'll see how she goes tomorrow. X
