Birth control after birth

Currently my husband and I are using the withdraw method but I’m terrified that I will get pregnant. I am 4 months postpartum. I always said I wouldn’t go on bc again but I have 2 weddings this summer and just simply not ready. Any thoughts?

I went on the ring and felt like it gave me insane mood swings so I stopped it after the first ring. I know that’s not helpful but I’m with you.. I’m stressing out on BC too. My doctor recommended IUD

You are more likely to get pregnant using the withdrawal method. If you don't want to use birth control then I would use condoms. I went on birth control after my first baby and was fine but it affected my libido. I'm not on any now and my libido is still affected so idk guess it's just having a baby. 🤣

BUT… I have Irish twins so be careful. My babies are 10 months apart because we used the withdraw method after my first

I'm using the IUD I really like it and he doesn't feel it either don't have to worry for 8 years I think plus with a toddler and a 4 month old it's not having to worry about taking it eveeryday

I was thinking about an IUD but I’ve heard so many horror stories. I haven’t been on birth control for like 10 years and my baby was 100% planned. Withdrawal method and ovulation tracking can be very effective when done correctly.
