Quick question, is 120ml excess for an almost 8 week old?
I upped my baby’s feeding from 50-60ml at one feeding to 120 ml today because I noticed she’d basically have that in the space of 1 hour.
She cluster feeds at each feeding of 50-60 and rounds it up to 100-120ml before she actually looks satisfied.
So I increased it but she’s having more spit ups and still expecting to eat in 2 hour intervals.

this is AI generated wouldnt assume this is just correct, might be in this context but for future reference

chill out 😂 who said I haven’t dealt with it, strange woman

My baby was on 4oz at 8 weeks old, I agree 4oz every 2hrs probably isn't very good but if u can stretch it to every 3-4hrs then it's completely fine. Idk what everyone else is on about. An overfeed baby will vomit everywhere ull no about it. But cluster feeding is also normal at 8 weeks they have growth spurt. If ur concerned call ur health visitor instead of taking advice from people who use AI. Are they actually showing feeding cues? Maybe they just want the suckling comfort and ur mistaking it for a bottle? Have u tried a dummy? X

The rough guidance is that a baby should be eating around 150-200ml of formula per kg of their body weight over a 24 hour period. However that’s only rough guidance and what each individual baby needs will vary.
In which intervals they eat it, is less important at this stage, but if her amount of spit up has increased, then it may well be too much in one go.
Maybe discuss with your health visitor as they could offer some guidance?
