@Abby this is AI generated wouldnt assume this is just correct, might be in this context but for future reference
@Payten Consodering I have 2 children who both had this issue I would know of Google was correct and they are. Please don't sit here and comment on something when you've never dealt with it 🤦♀️
@Abby chill out 😂 who said I haven’t dealt with it, strange woman
My baby was on 4oz at 8 weeks old, I agree 4oz every 2hrs probably isn't very good but if u can stretch it to every 3-4hrs then it's completely fine. Idk what everyone else is on about. An overfeed baby will vomit everywhere ull no about it. But cluster feeding is also normal at 8 weeks they have growth spurt. If ur concerned call ur health visitor instead of taking advice from people who use AI. Are they actually showing feeding cues? Maybe they just want the suckling comfort and ur mistaking it for a bottle? Have u tried a dummy? X
@Willow Excuse you, both of my babies did the same thing as hers is doing. Did you know that Google is free. Even websites say the same thing. Don't come on here being rude and disrespectful when you obviously have no idea what's going on
The rough guidance is that a baby should be eating around 150-200ml of formula per kg of their body weight over a 24 hour period. However that’s only rough guidance and what each individual baby needs will vary. In which intervals they eat it, is less important at this stage, but if her amount of spit up has increased, then it may well be too much in one go. Maybe discuss with your health visitor as they could offer some guidance?
No no no, 4 oz is way too much for a 8 week old especially when she eats every 2 hours. You only give a max of 2 oz every 2 hours
