Blood work during pregnancy

Any mamas not done any extensive blood work done yet? I have done an HIV test, Syphilis test and urine test and I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and they recommended I get more tests done.. I am curious to find out if it’s too late or if it’s perfectly normal to get blood work done this late in pregnancy

I will still getting blood work at 36 weeks. I wasn’t high risk or anything

I’m having mine done at 39 weeks still, however it’s due to having really low palettes

Wow! I’m only 16 weeks and it’s been endless bloodwork! HCG, blood type, every STD test known to man, metabolic testing, immunities, and the NIPT. I’m probably missing some. I am high risk due to AMA and HBP, but I’d be concerned that far along with little to no bloodwork! I also had bloodwork throughout all my prior pregnancies.

@Maggie I’m not either and I’ll put it to rest at my next appointment in January… I’m curious, was 36 weeks the only time you got it done?

@Nika I started my prenatal care at 16 weeks and my baby girl has been doing so good for how late I started and very active. I also only got blood work done at around 12 weeks with my first pregnancy and again right before delivery and that was it…

i wasn’t high risk but i definitely got a lot of blood work and testing
