I bled for less than 2 weeks and then I didn't get my actual period till I was 2 months pp. I have heard that breastfeeding delays the period but everyone is different. A lot of people were shocked I started so soon while breastfeeding. But again everyone is different. When I got my first real period it was basically as heavy as my pp bleeding, maybe a little lighter but it was heavier than my normal period

Unfortunately I was bleeding when breastfeeding too. Those who say it stops; lie 🤣 however; if at any point you think it's unusual for you, do seek help 👍
My first period postpartum was at 9 weeks and lasted a fortnight. After that it went back to a normal 28 days cycle and a 4/5 day period. The first is rough. I exclusively breastfed too, it doesn’t delay everyone. We are all different, all the women in my family get their periods back quickly and we get lots of Irish twins as a result 😬
I found breastfeeding made me bleed more. I stopped and my bleeding also stopped. X
