Cleaning poop or pee off fabric

What do you do to clean poop off of things like sheets or clothes? Do you just rinse it well and put it in the wash, or do you rinse it off and then soak it in something first like bleach or borax, rinse it again and then wash it with the rest of the washing? Would love to hear suggestions

I spray it with a stain remover spray let sit for a couple hrs and then wash on a hot wash w detergent and a scoop of stain remover powder. Removes everything. As a mum that washed cloth diapers fulltime the diapers never stained out of the wash (but w cloth diapers we wash them twice a short wash and a long wash because inserts have 5-6 layers in them that need 2 washes) whereas curtains and sheets etc are only 1 layer

Yeah with cloth diapers I follow Clean cloth nappies on FB and they recommend a prewash every 1-2 days and a main wash every 3-4 days, since I used night cloth as well I prewashed daily, put them in another basket and then did the main wash on Day 4, then hung up to dry.
