I have my 1st midwife appointment in a couple of weeks in Nuneaton, but I’d prefer to give birth at uhcw rather than ge, is that going to be an issue with my midwife being in Nuneaton? Has anyone else done this?

Hi, I did this and I 100% loved the experience. Just let your midwife know at your appointment so that they can transfer care and your pregnancy journey as you’re details will be kept with UHCW but you’ll be seen by Nuneaton team

Done twice! the only thing is Nuneaton don’t have access to UHCW’s system so both times I had a paper folder and my midwife printed all our sessions so I could have them with me when I had my babies in Cov

Yes, I’ve done it twice. They just send your details to UHCW but you’ll have all your midwife appts at Nuneaton but give birth at UHCW
