Birthday

How much on average do you spend on your childrens birthday? I worry I spend too much and don't want to spoil them but also want to treat them.

Spend as much as you want on them, it can help to narrow down gifts by prioritising learning gifts and toys they like, and make sure you have enough money left over for yourself and your home. This Christmas my lg was spoilt yet we only bought her two or three things ourselves considering we live paycheck to paycheck. There is no wrong answer for how you love your child. Enjoy it!

Second what Zoe said. There’s no right or wrong decision - it’s personal; as how/ where people want to spend their money is each to their own. What’s expensive to one person might not be expensive to another - we’ve all got our own perception when it comes to £££. So you do you ☺️ For me, I’ve spent about £100 on a party. I’ve hosted a small garden party (as weather has been on our side) and the money has been spent on providing a buffet and an activity - bouncy castle/ owl visits etc. To some that might seem cheap or still expensive. Xx

I get my child 2/3 presents and then take time to do an activity she really enjoys such as painting so messy but she loves it we only do it every so often ahah xx

I don’t really have a price limit though just if I think she likes it like we got two water guns and had a watertight she loved it and they cost less than a pound x

I think we spend around $200. But it depends on what we think he needs/would like.
