I got a portable potty I took out with me
following. mine is at the same stage right now too
@Elsa This is what i was thinking, Thank you! i’m going to put her in trousers tomorrow to get her used to pulling them up / down and go from there!🫶🏼
@Scarlett I just got one of those! Do you just whip it out anywhere or go to the toilet in public and do it?😂
I got a portable potty now she just kinda hovers if we’re on a walk or goes to the toilet
@Tayla depends how urgent she needs it! lol I’ve had to stop the car etc before. Done it in car parks. Use the car doors to hide her a bit. If I was in a shop I’d try to go to the toilet but not always possible!
We went to Disney on ice just a week after starting potty training, LG handled it better than I thought she would, she went potty before we left, then when we arrived, sat on it again when we got in to the venue, and then again during the interval etc. we have a portable potty. We have had to whip it out in the middle of the supermarket once, but I did manage to get her to beat the warehouse doors first, but she'd never have made it to the toilets
I went out on day two, just made sure I had the potty. I whipped it out anywhere. It was summer though and she had dresses on so she was covered.
I went out on day 3, just braved it. He was in just underpants around the house so we put trousers on in the morning and then went out. We are day 7 now, no accidents when we've been out and none at home, always tells me when he needs a wee (poos on the other hand 🤦♀️). Also, we have the carry potty too and that's a super helpful back up to know he can go anytime anywhere, only used once atm

I would first introduce trousers and if this is going well start taking her out for short periods and gradually increase x
