@Charlotte thank you so much for commenting, I might have to give that a go and see if it helps anything , I have recently started taking ‘seven seas trying for a baby’ so hoping that they help but if not I will try the ones you mentioned xx
Anytime! I hope they help you 🤞🏼
Hey lucy, sorry you have been going through this, it’s a really rough ride:( I had 3 miscarriages last year, and now we are going to pay to see a private gynaecologist, if I were you I would do the same, just to be given some tests and scans, as there may be something they can do/give you to help! I take vit d, coq10 methyl folate and omega 3, my friend who did ivf was recommended these supplements to help, and my partner takes the wellman conception pills, since we have been taking all these and tracking ovulation we have been getting pregnant, fingers crossed for you!x
Surgery is sometimes recommended to correct bicornuate uteruses but while it increases your chance of mc I believe this is usually later stage miscarriages. I’m not sure it would necessarily lead to a first trimester miscarriage. Have you been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic? x
@Amy thank you so much for commenting , I have been referred to the gyne and had an appointment on the 23rd of September and they told me that I was going to get a camera into my uterus to see what shape o have but yet to get an appointment, I will have a wee look into they supplements thank you xx
@Nerida I was referred last year and they took bloods and because everything came back fine they wouldn’t do anything got sent back to gyne and now waiting on an appointment to get a camera into my uterus to see what shape I have , they did say they can take the split away if they can see it’s definite x
@lucy I’m so sorry you’re going through this and so sorry for your losses. It starts with the egg is a good book which goes through some research about various supplements and how they might help egg quality. There is a group which I’ll tag you in which has a bit of info re: recurrent miscarriages xxxx
@Charlotte thank you so much I will have a look into the book xx
I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through all that and they’re still kind of leaving you hanging for 2 years and 4 miscarriages! If they think the shape of your uterus is the problem it may need to be surgically corrected. I’d make sure they ruled out other possibilities first though personally (genetic compatibility, lifestyle factors, sperm problems, hormonal imbalances, nutritional deficiencies etc) wishing you your miracle this year!
Sorry to hear what you are going through, it took me a while also. After having no luck I decided to try conceive plus and I was pregnant within 2 months of taking it!
