One year and still not really eating

I introduced solids to my girl right around 6m and lately her eating seems to be worse than ever and her doctor is trying to tell me to start switching her over to cow’s milk. Which how?! She eats maybe 1 meal a day with a bit of snacking here and there. Lunch today was her sitting on her grilled cheese and then chucking it across the room. When will my child actually eat? Any similar experiences and any advice on how to get her to eat?

What foods does she actually like if any? Chicken?Fish?Steak?Pork chops?String beans?Black beans?

@Priscilla She likes chicken, cheese and pasta but when I say like I mean she’ll eat maybe a table spoon worth instead of nothing.

@Nikki she will only eat a table spoon of chicken cheese pasta She's still young and no I wouldn't switch her to cows milk keep her on formula listen to her cues

My son is the same. He will eat roughly 1 meal a day. I've tried everything. It's so frustrating and makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong. I don't have any advice for you, just letting you know you're not alone.

@Priscilla I plan on keeping her on the formula I don’t think she’s eating near enough for me to give her just milk maybe with a meal I might start giving her milk but keep the rest of her bottles the same.

@Regina it’s so hard not thinking I messed up somehow. One day they will learn that food is good too. Still hoping one day she’ll decide she wants to eat.
